The location of the house is convenient, with local amenities within walking distance. The room was clean and generously sized, with a large, comfortable bed and a brand-new walk-in shower. The host, Claire, was exceptional and provided a friendly and helpful service. The breakfast was delicious and there were nice touches such as toiletries and cakes in the room.

Some road noise could be heard, but it did not disturb us during our stay.

The moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning historic house and its beautiful decor. It was evident that a lot of hard work and effort had been put into renovating the property while still preserving its original features. Claire, our welcoming host, made our stay an absolute pleasure. The room was immaculately clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast options were plentiful, and everything was cooked fresh to order. Claire was always available to attend to any of our needs, including providing extra milk for my husband's tea. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to others.

What a beautiful house in a fabulous location just a couple of minutes gentle stroll to the very heart of the town. Our host Claire was the perfect host, every comfort had been thought of from fresh milk and chilled water being left for us upon our return to a fan in the room if required. The breakfast was delicious and it felt very relaxed and totally unrushed. Would definitely recommend a stay at this charming hotel, thank you Claire!

We were warmly welcomed at Rook Lane House Villa and everything felt safe and clean. The lovely room and very clean bathroom made our stay comfortable. Claire, the host, was friendly and there was even a sweet dog there. The property's location is excellent, just a short walk from great restaurants and shops. We had a lovely time exploring the town. The breakfast offered lots of delicious choices and left us satisfied.

I recently had a relaxing overnight stay in a picturesque and charming B&B. The room was generously sized, very clean, and had a comfortable bed. The bathroom had a powerful shower and provided toiletries. The owner, Claire, was welcoming and accommodating, ensuring that almond milk and vegan biscuits were available for me. The breakfast had a wide variety of choices, including a yummy vegan option. It was a lovely experience overall.

I would have liked more amenities in the room, like biscuits, and a rug for added comfort.
